PAYMENT TERMS & BILLING POLICY
TripProf
Last updated: February 7, 2026
This Payment Terms & Billing Policy ("Policy") governs all payment-related matters, billing practices, pricing, credits, subscriptions, and fees applicable to paid services offered by TripProf ("TripProf", "we", "us", or "our").
This Policy forms an integral part of the Terms of Service and must be read together with the Refund & Cancellation Policy, Privacy Policy, and Data Processing Agreement (DPA).
1. Paid Services Overview
TripProf offers paid access to certain features of the Services through:
Credits (usage-based, prepaid digital units), and
Subscriptions (recurring monthly or annual plans).
All prices, billing cycles, and applicable taxes are disclosed to you prior to purchase.
2. Pricing and Taxes
Prices are displayed in the applicable currency based on your system settings or location.
Prices may exclude applicable taxes, VAT, GST, or similar governmental charges unless explicitly stated otherwise.
You are solely responsible for any applicable taxes, duties, or fees imposed by authorities.
TripProf reserves the right to change pricing at any time, subject to applicable law. Changes do not apply retroactively.
3. Payment Processing
3.1 Payment Methods
Payments may be made using:
Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express,
Apple Pay and Google Pay,
other methods made available through Stripe.
All payments are processed by Stripe or, where applicable, by Apple App Store or Google Play.
TripProf:
does not store full payment card details,
does not control third-party payment authorization decisions.
3.2 Third-Party Payment Providers
Stripe, Apple, and Google act as independent data controllers for payment data and process such data in accordance with their own privacy policies and terms.
TripProf bears no responsibility for:
payment authorization failures,
bank or issuer decisions,
platform-specific billing rules.
4. Credits
4.1 Nature of Credits
Credits:
are digital, non-tangible units,
have no cash or monetary equivalent,
are non-transferable,
may only be used within the TripProf Services.
4.2 Validity Period of Credits
Credit validity depends on how they were acquired:
Purchased Credits (packs): Validity and usage conditions are as described in the Services at the time of purchase.
Subscription Credits: Granted per billing period. Valid until the end of the billing period in which they were granted. Unused subscription credits do not carry over to the next billing period and are forfeited at period end.
TripProf bears no obligation to provide reminders regarding Credit validity.
4.3 Use and Deduction of Credits
Credits are automatically deducted when you:
unlock paid sections of Trip Reports, or
access other paid features as described in the Services.
Once deducted, Credits are considered used and non-reversible.
5. Subscriptions
5.1 Subscription Plans
Subscriptions may be offered on:
a monthly, or
an annual basis.
Each Subscription grants access to specific features as described at the time of purchase. Subscription credits are granted per billing period and expire at the end of that period; they do not accumulate across billing periods.
5.2 Automatic Renewal
Unless canceled prior to the end of the current billing period:
Subscriptions automatically renew,
the applicable fee is charged to your selected payment method.
You authorize TripProf and its payment providers to charge recurring fees accordingly.
5.3 Cancellation of Subscriptions
You may cancel a Subscription at any time:
via the Stripe customer portal, accessible through your TripProf account or application, or
via the relevant platform (Apple App Store / Google Play), if purchased there.
Cancellation becomes effective at the end of the current billing cycle.
6. Billing Failures and Delinquency
If a payment fails:
TripProf may retry the charge,
access to paid features may be suspended or limited,
outstanding balances remain payable.
TripProf reserves the right to terminate access for prolonged non-payment.
7. Refunds and Chargebacks
Refunds are governed exclusively by the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
You agree not to initiate chargebacks without first contacting TripProf.
Unjustified chargebacks may result in:
account suspension or termination,
forfeiture of Credits or Subscriptions.
8. Effect of Account Deletion
Upon account deletion:
active Subscriptions are automatically canceled,
unused Credits are forfeited,
no refunds are issued except where required by law.
Data deletion is governed by the Privacy Policy and DPA and is independent of billing status.
9. No Financial Advice
Expenses tracking, budgeting features, or pricing information provided through the Services:
are for informational purposes only,
do not constitute financial, accounting, or tax advice.
10. Changes to Payment Terms
TripProf may modify this Policy from time to time.
Material changes will be communicated via the Services and will apply prospectively.
Continued use of paid Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
11. Governing Law
This Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the governing law specified in the Terms of Service, unless mandatory consumer protection laws provide otherwise.
